Make available a trio of living areas that demonstrate how to live more sustainably. Each area shows different ways to lessen one's impact on the environment ranging from green technologies to simple habit changes.

Global Environmental Theme House
Purpose: 
To provide a living and learning environment for students interested in social, economic, and scientific issues affecting our Earth’s urban, rural, and global environment

Student Sustainability Education Coordinators

Name of Organization: 
Student Sustainability Education Coordinators
Purpose: 
A program designed for the Residence Halls to promote sustainability awareness and aid operations management with sustainability issues. They do projects such as battery recycling, goodwill drive, sustainability week, and green room.

Students for a Greener Berkeley (SGB)
Purpose: 
The Students for a Greener Berkeley will promote and implement environmental practices and policies on campus that will increase sustainability in all aspects of campus operations. In order to achieve this goal we are working with campus administration, staff, and faculty, in addition to graduate and undergraduate students. Green Campus

Name of Organization: 
Green Campus
Purpose: 
To save energy on university campuses through a student-led campaign to identify and reduce energy waste through improvements in energy use behaviors, student purchasing decisions and operations changes; to build student awareness about the relationship between energy efficiency and the environment and the need to use energy efficiently; and strengthen academic learning by facilitating the incorporation of Green Campus activities into students' academic plans.
